This explains what WeddingStack collects, why, and what we do and do not do with it. In short: we use your data to run the tools you switched on, and we do not sell it.
What we collect
- Your details: the email address you sign in with, your name, and the account(s) you belong to.
- What you put in: the content you create in the tools — entries, photos, contacts, forms, cards and the files you upload.
- How it is used: basic technical records such as a one-way hashed form of your IP address (used to limit abuse, never stored as a readable address) and simple counts like how many times a code was scanned.
- Payments: if you buy a tool, our payment processor handles your card. We never see or store full card numbers.
How we use it
To run the tools you have switched on, to sign you in, to take payment for what you buy, and to send you transactional email — a login code, a receipt, a reminder you asked for. We do not send marketing you did not ask for, and every reminder can be switched off.
AI features
When you use a feature that reads a sentence, a photo or a recording, that specific content is sent to our AI providers to produce the result you asked for. It is used to generate your result, not to train their models. A voice recording is transcribed and then discarded — the audio is not kept.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use the content of your account to build a profile of you for anyone else.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run WeddingStack: our hosting provider (to store the data), our payment processor (to take payment), our email provider (to deliver transactional email), and our AI providers (to power the AI features, as above). Each handles only what its job needs. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: one to keep you signed in, and a few to remember simple preferences and to limit repeated actions. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Keeping it, and getting it out
Your data stays as long as your account uses the tool it belongs to. You can export your data from within most tools at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data. After an account closes we remove its data following a short grace period.
Security
Files are stored outside the public web root and served only to people allowed to see them, sign-in is codes rather than passwords, and access is scoped to your own account. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your email account secure too.
Children
WeddingStack is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children.
